The invention relates to a contact piece comprising a covering made of tungsten (1) which is soldered to a carrier (3). At least parts of the solder layer (2) and, optionally, the carrier are soldered to a layer made of base metal (4) such as tungsten. Said invention significantly improves the resistance to corrosion of the tungsten layer.
