The invention relates to aminoterminally incised RANTES in which NH2-terminal aminoacids, corresponding to amino acid residues 1, 1-2, 1-3 or 1-4 of the naturally occurring RANTES in nature are missing and which have the activity of antagonists of haemokin, and to cDNA sequences which are encoding them, to their application in therapy and/or for the diagnostics of diseases based on its antagonistic effect. The invention also relates to pharmaceutical compositions containing the above amino acids. |
