FIELD: electrical engineering; electronic and automatic-control devices. ^ SUBSTANCE: proposed two-phase transformer characterized in output voltages shifted through 90 electrical degrees has composite spiral toroidal magnetic circuit with internal air duct. External primary and secondary windings are disposed around this composite spiral toroidal magnetic circuit. Internal air duct of the latter accommodates internal primary and secondary windings. Primary windings are connected to supply mains and secondary windings, to load. Novelty is that internal air duct of composite spiral toroidal magnetic circuit is shifted to its external end.
