Disclosed are: Compounds of the formula (I) wherein, ring A and ring B are independently selected from the group consisting of aryl and heteroaryl, provided that ring A is other than pyridyl, quinazolyl or naphthyridyl, X is O or S; Processes for their preparation; Conjugates comprising an antibody bound to the compounds of formula (I) either directly or through a linking moiety; Pharmaceutical compositions comprising the compounds and/or the conjugates; and The use of the compounds and the conjugates in the preparation of a medicament for use in cancer therapy.
