DRUM FOR OPTICAL TAPE CASSETTE

PURPOSE: A drum for an optical tape cassette is provided to install guide units for guiding an optical tape running the drum, to prevent a vibration of the optical tape, so as to easily control a tracking servo by a regular signal detecting position when information is recorded or reproduced in the optical tape. CONSTITUTION: Two guide projectors(81) are projected to have ends for restricting both sides of an optical tape. The guide projectors(81) correspond to one width of the optical tape. When the optical tape runs a circumference side of a drum, the guide projectors(81) are separated for predetermined width to correspond to the width of the optical tape on the drum where the optical tape is contacted. The optical tape runs between both of the guide projectors(81).
