A louvre window with partially opening louvres

A louver window which has a window surround frame, a plurality of louvres pivotally mounted to the window surround frame, and a handle (15) which is operatively associated with the louvers such that rotation of the handle causes rotation of at least some of the louvres between a closed position and an open position. The louvre window contains stop means (16) to prevent the louvres from opening to a fully open substantially horizontal position, the stop means being associated with the handle to restrict operation of the handle.
