A page protector that consists of two transparent sheets 1, 2 joined along edges to form a pocket. One edge of the pocket has a longitudinal strengthening band 6 including apertures 7 for engagement with holding devices of a scrapbook album. The opening 9 into which photographs or album pages are inserted is releasably sealed and is formed at an edge opposite the strengthening band.
