The device has a counter-frame (1) fixed to masonry of a frontage. Electromagnetic vent holes (2) fixed to the frame are supplied by a voltage of 48 volts for locking a jamb (3) of a window block. The jamb pivots on the frame and supports contact plates of the holes. Window casements (5) are operated using a handle (6). The supply of the holes is breakdown by a dry contact when an alarm is triggered in case of fire to unlock the jamb.
