<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method of shortly, efficiently and precisely estimating a ground velocity structure. SOLUTION: An estimation system 10 having a plurality of vibration sensors 11-14 and an analyzer 20 for analyzing the outputs of the vibration sensors is installed. on a survey site. Before a depth is reached where data of a ground database 23 exists in the vicinity of the survey site, the data is used, and in between the depth and a desired basement layer, a model is additionally used which has S-wave velocity and the number of layers divided in plural. Dispersion characteristics are found from the model by using an inversion method to estimate the velocity structure of a ground.</p> |
