PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a stand that positions precisely and enables to obtain a wiping effect and a connector for the same. SOLUTION: The terminal 15, 16 comprises contact portions 15A, 16A which contact elastically with a terminal 34 of the portable equipment 30 in the direction of mounting and which protrude from the terminal supporting portion 19 of the housing 14. The housing has a guiding column 17 which enters in the guided recess 38 of the portable equipment outside the installation area of the terminal, and the guiding column 17 has a shape and dimensions that allow the portable equipment to turn to an angle up to the inclined position when the both terminals are in contact each other at mounting the portable equipment. And a part of the housing or a member installed thereon forms a holding portion 13 for holding the portable equipment at the above inclined position. And the contact portions 15A, 16A of the above terminal are positioned within the outline of the guiding column 17 when viewed from the axis direction of the above turning.
