PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a position/posture detecting system capable of easily and surely detecting a position and a posture of a mobile body as a detection object in a control center without mounting a device such as a GPS with heavy weight and large power consumption to the mobile body. SOLUTION: This position/posture detecting system 10 has a control center 60 having a communication means, a first mobile body having a communication means and its absolute position and absolute posture grasped by the control center 60, and a second mobile body having a communication means. The first mobile body has an imaging means for imaging the second mobile body, and a current information creation means creating current information and the like of the second mobile body including image data, so as to transmit the current information to the control center 60. The control center 60 has an absolute position/absolute posture detection means for obtaining the absolute position and the absolute posture of the second mobile body based on the information on the absolute position and the absolute posture of the first mobile body and the current information of the second mobile body.
