PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent wasteful ink leakage to end faces of an ink-supply roll as much as possible in a printing machine including the ink-supply roll, a squeezing member in contact with the ink-supply roll, and an ink chamber formed by two weir members. SOLUTION: The ink supply arrangement for supplying ink from the ink reservoir 13 to a plate cylinder by rotation of the ink-supply roll 2 includes: a lubricant agent supply member 7, which also functions as an ink leakage prevention, provided on the sliding contact surface with the weir member 4 of the ink-supply roll 2; a peripheral groove 21 formed on the end face of the ink-supply roll 2 to aid the supply of the lubricant agent; and a return groove 41 to take up ink leakage from the end face of the ink-supply roll 2 and get it back to the ink chamber 13.
