PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce floating amount and inclination amount of a movable body by dynamic pressure generated by involving lubricating oil at a front end part of an advancing direction when feeding the movable body on a base at high speed. SOLUTION: In this device, a guide surface 2 is formed on the base 1, and the movable body 3 is slidably guided by a dynamic pressure action by interposing the lubricating oil on the guide surface 2. A plurality of oil grooves 15 extending in a direction perpendicular to a feed direction of the movable body 3 and having both ends communicated with the atmosphere as pressure open means for releasing the dynamic pressure acting on a surface 3a to be guided of the movable body 3 into the atmosphere are provided to equally divide the surface 3a to be guided in the feed direction of the movable body 3.
