The method involves providing a breathable gas, and producing moisture that is derived from ambient environmental surroundings, where the moisture is produced by applying a current on a Peltier plate assembly to create condensation. The breathable gas is channeled along an air flow path that includes access to a portion of the moisture to increase humidification of the breathable gas. Independent claims are also included for the following: (A) a blower for providing breathable gas to a user (B) a condensation sensor arranged to detect condensation.
