Primary and secondary windings on a repeating coil are operated by a high-frequency (HF) output current or an HF output voltage in an electronic switching step, i.e. a half bridge. The repeating coil makes HF output power available for a load, i.e. a fluorescent lamp, simultaneously together with a high-tension/oscillating-circuit capacitor.
