The present invention relates, in general, to genes encoding inflammatory receptors. In particular, the present invention relates to molecular cloning of a novel cDNA sequence that codes for a heptahelix receptor whose deduced amino acid sequence is related to the group of leukotriene receptors. The present invention also relates to the inflammatory mediators called leukotrienes (which are included in the family named leukocyte chemoattractants), in particular leukotriene B4. |
