<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a fixed image free from transfer deviation or image staining by controlling the fixing conveying speed of paper to which a toner image has been transferred by a transfer roller in a fixing device positioned proximately. <P>SOLUTION: Sensors P1 and P2 detecting the loop of the paper are provided lower than a line XX linking a separation position where the paper is separated from the transfer roller 5A with a fixing nip part N, and the sensor P1 on an upstream side is positioned farther from the line XX than the sensor P2 on a downstream side. Assuming that the linear velocity of the fixing means when the sensor P2 detects the loop is V2 and the linear velocity of the fixing means when the sensor P1 detects the loop is V1, speed control is performed so as to satisfy V1>V2. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI |
