<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a wireless communication device capable of improving a gain by the frequency interleave by selecting an optimum frequency interleave pattern. <P>SOLUTION: A frequency interleave pattern deciding part 5 decides the optimum frequency interleave pattern on the basis of a spreading factor and a number of sub-carriers and notifies a frequency interleave part 6 of the optimum frequency interleave pattern.
