<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide vegetable sterol-containing milk beverage capable of stably emulsifying vegetable sterol for a long period even in preservation, excellent in keeping quality and stability, and producible by normal milk beverage production processes. <P>SOLUTION: The vegetable sterol-containing milk beverage contains one kind or at least two kinds selected from glycerine fatty acid ester, sodium caseinate and microcrystalline cellulose. The vegetable sterol is one kind or at least two kinds selected from β-sitosterol, campesterol, stigmasterol, brassicasterol, sitostanol, campestanol and their ester salts. The milk beverage is homogenized and heat-sterilized in a condition of containing vegetable sterol and one kind or at least two kinds selected from glycerine fatty acid ester, sodium caseinate and microcrystalline cellulose. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI |
