PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electric multi-stage transmission capable of switchingly driving a shift mechanism by an electric motor and shifted by the depressing operation of a foot pedal in the connected state of a reduction gear mechanism. SOLUTION: This electric multi-stage transmission for a vehicle comprises an electric actuator 38 having a shift mechanism 32 having a shift selection shaft 33 for shifting and a shift drive shaft 46 for rotatingly driving the shift selection shaft 33, a shift rod 35 connected, at its one end, to the shift drive shaft 46 and connected, at its other end, to the shift selection shaft 33, and a shift pedal for depressing operation connected to the shift selection shaft 33. Also, the transmission comprises a one-way transmission mechanism relieving a force acting on the electric actuator 38 from a shift rod 3 side and transmitting only a force acting from the electric actuator 38 to the shift rod 35.
