PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a pair of socks free from causing feeling of tightness or feeling of pressure at the time of holding the tiptoe, having no connection part, preventing kink of a knitted fabric itself and having excellent outward appearance. SOLUTION: The pair of socks is formed by setting with a socks knitting machine a tiptoe holding part 20 connected with a cylinder knitted part 10 forming a sole part 11 and an instep part 12 and having a left-right asymmetry plane nearly trapezoid shape inclined to the thumb, and setting in the tiptoe holding part 20, a knitted standing part 25 for increasing thickness by normal knitting along the external form between a front part 22 and a back part 21 by reverse knitting in a plane almost trapezoid shape.
