PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a lid of a cup-shaped container, which is a fall lid having a simple structure, partly unsealable after being bonded to a flange of the container and not separable from the container. SOLUTION: A lid (A) has a heat-sealing material layer on the lower side and used for a cup-shaped container (B) with a flange (1), and consists of an aluminum foil. A portion corresponding to an area which is about one half of the entire area of a container mouth part of an inside diameter of 62.7 mm and exceeds one half is formed to a depth of 8 mm so as to be retained by the container (B), formed of a retaining part (3) as a recess having an arc-shaped side wall (2) along the inner circumferential surface of the container mouth part, and a remaining portion is formed to be a partially opened part (4) to be separable from the container (B).
