The arrangement for the operating of a clutch (7) includes a spring which with movement of the clutch pedal (16) between a starting position and end position overcomes at least one dead point so that by means of the spring in at least one part of the movement of the clutch pedal a negative restoring force is exerted on the clutch pedal. The spring is connected by a first fastening point to means which describe a curved path in dependence upon the position of the clutch pedal, and by a second fastening point connected to the clutch pedal.
