The grinding body grinds solid material, which may or may not be mixed with powders. Offset grinding bodies are put into motion relative to each other, and operated at below 0~o Celsius. The surface of the grinding body consists basically of a material which is rigid at grinding temperature, but not at room temperature and atmospheric pressure.
