<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To generate a space for sound for comfortably providing different kinds of sounds to a plurality of users present in predetermined locations of the same space. <P>SOLUTION: A CPU 10 recognizes respective sound waveforms outputted from two or more kinds of sound sources. When a sound is outputted from one sound source, a pseudo-sound of approximately the same amplitude with generally the opposite phase of the sound waveform of the other sound source is generated and outputted in accordance with the location where the user listens to the sound from the one sound source. In this way, the sound from the other sound source is eliminated at the location where the user listens to the sound, and the mutual interferences by a plurality of kinds of sounds are prevented beforehand, thereby creating a comfortable sound space for the user. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI |
