<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a medical catheter tube which has a high degree of freedom in adjusting to control tilts of rigidity and flexibility and enables the setting of the conditions corresponding to various access paths, and a method for manufacturing the same. <P>SOLUTION: The medical catheter tube is constituted by integrating an inner layer tube, a reinforcing material layer, a marker, and an outer layer tube. A striating element forming the reinforcing material layer is wound closely at the distal end portion, and the striating element is closely, roughly, and closely wound around the marker, which is made of a metallic wire with radiopacity and is located at a position adjacent to the end. The medical catheter tube has the most distal end portion without the reinforcing material layer and the marker, and is constituted to have flexural rigidity gradually and continuously reduced from the proximal end portion to the distal end portion because of the existence of the reinforcing material layer and the outer layer tube. As a result, the medical catheter tube has especially delicate flexibility at the distal end portion. Since the striating element is wound from the closely wound part at the distal end portion to the position close to the proximal end, with the varied intervals and tilting angles, and ends at the proximal end portion, the medical catheter tube enables various setting of the conditions by the winding of the striating element combined with the arrangements of the hardness and tilts of the outer layer tube. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI |
