<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain an ultrahigh-speed electric blower that is improved in the centrifugal force resistant strength of a rotor of the electric blower controlled by a semiconductor switch, enhanced in cooling effect and reduced in size, high in efficiency, reduced in the space of a control circuit and achieved in cost reduction, and improved in startup performance. <P>SOLUTION: The rotor makes a DC current flow to a rotor winding applied with a lap winding to a multi-slot core via a slip ring and an power feeding and receiving brush, and forms a well-balanced rotating body superior in resistance to centrifugal force. A stator generates a magnetic pole of a one-phase to three-phase magnetic pole concentration winding having a sufficient cooling wind path, and controls the opening/closing of a semiconductor switch of each phase by a position signal generated by a position detection means. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI |
