<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a dye-containing negative curable composition which ensures good heat resistance of a pattern, a color filter using the composition and a method for producing the color filter. <P>SOLUTION: The dye-containing negative curable composition contains at least one of a compound having a substituted or unsubstituted guanidino group and a salt thereof, a dye, an alkali-soluble binder, a photopolymerization initiator and a polymerizable monomer.
