PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a perfluoro-elastomer having a glass transition temperature lower than -10°C, exhibiting excellent mechanical properties and compression set property over a wide temperature range and curable with a peroxide. SOLUTION: The perfluoro-elastomer having a glass transition temperature lower than -10°C and intrinsic viscosity (molecular weight) increased by decreasing the COF terminal group content of the polymer below a sensitivity limit measured by a specific method using a Fourier transform infrared spectroscopy and curable with a peroxide can be produced by the polymerization method of the present invention having excellent productivity.
