PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a communications apparatus, capable of automatically dividing received image information into lots, on the basis of TSI (time-shared input) information and transferring the divided image information to a folder in a personal computer. SOLUTION: The communication apparatus is provided with a control part 1 for controlling the system as a whole; a reading part 2 for reading out an original; a writing part 3 for printing out image information, a list, a report or the like; a storage part 4 for storing operation data, such as a system control program and user data, an operation part 6 for inputting an opposite number, information necessary for the system or the like and instructing a destination to which the information is to be transmitted; a communication control part 7 for controlling the communication operation of facsimile communication; a line control part 8 for controlling the interface with a line; and a network control part 9 for controlling a network: and constituted so as to automatically divide the received image information, on the basis of the TSI information and transfer the divided image information to a folder in a personal computer.
