PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To shorten each process time and improve manufacturing efficiency at manufacturing of an image display device. SOLUTION: Panel members 101, 102 for forming a panel of an image display device are transferred in order to a plurality of treatment chambers having respectively a temperature control means, and while controlling temperatures, a plurality of treatment are applied to the panel members to manufacture the image display device. At this process, the temperatures of the panel members 101, 102 in the treatment chambers are established by the temperature control means in each treatment chamber at a temperature or lower than that of the panel members in the previous treatment chamber in the transfer process.
