PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a tilting device for a wind screen which is light-weight and can increase rigidity. SOLUTION: This tilting device 10 is equipped with a pair of right and left guide rails 22 and 23 which are fixed to the car body of a vehicle such as a motorcycle, and are arranged in the front and the rear in such a manner that respective guide rails 22 and 23 may be bent to protrude downward, and guide members 43 and 44 which move in the front and rear guide rails. The tilting device 10 is also equipped with a pair of right and left carrier plates 24 which are supported by the front and rear guide members, and are fixed to the wind screen W, and a driving device which reciprocates the carrier plates 24 while synchronizing them. The driving device comprises control cables 14, 15 and 16 which are wound into an 8 shape, and a cable driving mechanism 17 which drives the loop of the inner cord to be reciprocated and circulated.
