摘要 <P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a technique for setting a luminescence gradation of a current-driven light emitting element by a method different from a conventional one. <P>SOLUTION: A pixel circuit 210 is provided with a current programming circuit 240 and voltage programming transistors 251, 252. When setting a luminescence gradation of an organic EL device 220, the voltage programming is carried out using a voltage signal V<SB>out</SB>by setting 1st and 2nd voltage programming transistors 251, 252 to OFF-state and ON-state, respectively.
