<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a new proline derivative useful as a medicine, its production intermediate and a new compound useful as an antibacterial agent. <P>SOLUTION: This proline derivative useful as the antibacterial agent against multiple drug resistant bacteria, expressed by formula (I) [wherein, ring A is a 5- or 6-membered heterocyclic group which may be fused with a benzene ring; R<SB>1</SB>and R<SB>2</SB>are each H, a lower alkyl which may be substituted, a 5- or 6-membered saturated or unsaturated cyclic group (a) or the like; R<SB>3</SB>, R<SB>4</SB>are each connected with any of the positions of ring B and are each H, a lower alkyl or the like; (n), (m) are each an integer of 1 or 2; R<SB>5</SB>, R<SB>6</SB>are each H, hydroxy, a halogen atom, phenyl or the like; X is C, S or O; and Y is H, an amino-protecting group or a group expressed by formula (b) (wherein, R<SB>7</SB>is an alkyl or a cycloalkyl lower alkyl; and R<SB>8</SB>is H or hydroxy-protecting group)] and its production intermediate are provided. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI</p> |
