<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a multi-cylinder reciprocating compressor for vehicular air-conditioner of suppressed noise and vibration. <P>SOLUTION: This compressor is provided with a cylindrical cylinder block 16 having a plurality of cylinder bores formed therein, a front head 18, a housing which consists of a rear head 19 forming an intake chamber 19a and a delivery chamber 19b, a drive shaft 10, a piston 15 reciprocating with accompanying rotation of the drive shaft, and a valve plate 22. The valve plate is put between the cylinder block and the rear head. The intake chamber communicates to the cylinder bore via an intake valve and an intake hole formed on the valve plate and communicates to an intake port 20 formed on a surrounding wall of the rear head. The delivery chamber communicates to the cylinder bore via a delivery valve and a delivery hole formed on the valve plate and communicates to the delivery port 21 formed on the surrounding wall of the rear head. The intake chamber is formed in an annular shape and the delivery chamber is formed inside of an annulus formed by the intake chamber. The intake chamber is divided into two of a first chamber in an outside of a radial direction and a second chamber in an inside of the radial direction by a partition extending in a circumference direction. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI</p> |
