<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an expansion unit for a controller capable of realizing the controller having the function suitable for the game content. <P>SOLUTION: This expansion unit 70 for adding the vibrating function is provided with a connector 71 to be connected to an expansion connector 26 of a controller body 10. An end part of a connecting cable 72 is provided with a connector 73 to be connected to a connector 202 of a game device body 200. A power source 76 required for imparting vibration is arranged in the middle of the connecting cable 72. The expansion unit 70 is provided with a control computer 74 for controlling the whole. The control computer 74 is provided with a vibrating part 75 for imparting vibration.
