PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a wireless receiver for receiving signals being transmitted from a plurality of transmission antennas in which a wireless transmission preamble signal is employed in order to perform A/D conversion appropriately by performing high precision AGC. SOLUTION: A PLCP signal includes a short preamble sequence 101; a first long preamble sequence 102 and signal fields 103 and 104 being transmitted sequentially from one antenna Tx1; a plurality of AGC preambles 105A-105D being transmitted from a plurality of antennas Tx1, Tx2, Tx3 and Tx4, respectively, after the PLCP signal; and a wireless transmission preamble signal having second long preamble sequences 106A-109A, 106B-109B, 106C-109C and 106D-109D being transmitted from the antennas Tx1, Tx2, Tx3 and Tx4, respectively, after the AGC preambles 105A-105D are arranged in front of transmission data 110A-110D.
