PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a delivery valve mechanism which is provided with a valve plate having a delivery opening formed thereon, a reed valve opening and closing the delivery hole, a retainer including a flat part gripping a base part of the reed valve with working together with the valve plate and a curved part regulating reed valve tip part lift at a time of reed valve open, and a fixing screw fixing the flat part of the retainer on the valve plate, and of which stiffness of the valve plate is increased as compared with conventional one, for a compressor. SOLUTION: This mechanism is provided with the valve plate having the delivery opening formed thereon, the reed valve opening and closing the delivery hole, the retainer including the flat part gripping the base part of the reed valve with working together with the valve plate and the curved part regulating reed valve tip part lift at a time of reed valve open, and the fixing screw fixing the flat part of the retainer on the valve plate. A bulge part extending toward a side of the reed valve tip part from the base part of the reed valve is formed as one unit with the reed valve, and a flat bulge part extending toward the bulge part of the reed valve and gripping the bulge part of the reed valve with working together with the valve plate is formed as one unit with the flat part of the retainer.
