PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain an inkjet recorder which can perform image recording by multipass in a simple and compact structure. SOLUTION: A guide member 26 has an arc-shaped guide part 26G with a predetermined radius of curvature R2. The guide part 26G is disposed to project towards the outside seen from a driving roller 24. The relation of L<R1+R2 is satisfied for a pitch L between centers of the driving roller 24 and the guide part 26G, a radius R1 of the driving roller 24 and the radius of curvature R2 of the guide part 26G. The pitch L between the centers can be made small even when the radius R1 of the driving roller 24 and the radius of curvature R2 of the guide part 26G are made large, so that the inkjet recorder 12 can be made compact as a whole.
