PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a driving machine equipped with a driver blade having a long lifetime, compared with a conventional one involving such a risk that its driver blade makes resonance in association with striking in the driving process, resulting in a short lifetime. SOLUTION: The driving machine has the driver blade 2 made from a steel rod and reciprocating in the longitudinal direction for striking a crisp 10 such as a nail etc. and a tail cover 9 to guide the driver blade, and is furnished with a resilient piece 3 at least in one part on the peripheral surface of the driver blade 2. This damps the vibration of the driver blade 2, and resonance is unlikely to occur. Accordingly it is possible to suppress stresses generated in the driver blade 2. COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI
