PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a cutting device to cut a work with a heated blade while a temperature rise of the surrounding area is suppressed. SOLUTION: The cutting device 1 for bread furnished with a circular blade 5 rotating is equipped with a heater coil 41 to heat the blade 5 without contact under a temperature control, a reciprocative feeding mechanism S to make reciprocation in the direction of Arrow D for cutting the bread P, a thickness adjusting mechanism T to set and adjust the bread cutting thickness, and an extruding mechanism U to send out bread pieces one by one to the side of cutting interlocking with the movement of the thickness adjusting mechanism T.
