<p>A retainer wire (1) used for a tooth row retention appliance enabling only a lip side wire to be easily replaced with a new one, comprising the lip side wire (11) formed in an arc shape so as to come into contact with a tooth row on the front tooth side and metallic wires (12) extended from both ends of the lip side wire. The retainer wire (1) is characterized in that the lip side wire (11) is formed of a transparent synthetic resin with a specified mechanical strength, and the metallic wires (12) are connected to the lip side wire (11) through screw parts fixed to both ends of the lip side wire and the other screw parts of the metallic wires (12) threaded to the screw parts.</p> |
