An information display comprising an information display panel for displaying information such as an image by encapsulating one kind or more of display media between two opposing substrates including at least one transparent substrate and moving the display media by an electric field generated in the substrate. For the purpose of preventing inter-electrode short circuit due to outflow of conductive paste applied to the peripheral part of the substrate in order to allow conduction between upper and lower substrates, a dummy barrier wall (11) having a cross-sectional shape (any one of L-shape, U-shape, rectangular shape, circular shape, polygonal shape, semicircular shape, I-shape or step-shape, L-shape is shown on the drawing) capable of preventing outflow of conductive paste from a regular applying position is provided at a predetermined position on the substrate. The information display is designed to prevent inter-electrode short circuit due to outflow of the conductive paste from the regular applying position by providing the dummy barrier wall on the substrate.
