An aircraft wing (12) comprising a fixed wing (14), a slat (16) movable relative to the fixed wing (14) between a retracted position and an extended position, electrical lines (36, 38) extending between the fixed wing (14) an d an electrical system (34) on the slat (16), and a linkage (40). The linkage (40 ) houses the electrical lines (36, 38) and is convertible between a retracted conditi on when the slat (16) is in the retracted position and an extended condition when th e slat (16) is in the extended position.
