ROTARY TYPE FLOW CONTROL VALVE AND REFRIGERATING CYCLE DEVICE

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To accurately control a flow rate in a rotary type flow control valve having a groove-like flow metering shape part in the outer peripheral surface of a valve element.

SOLUTION: Upper and lower flow metering grooves 21 and 22 are formed in the valve element 20 at two positions different from each other in the axial direction, and a vertical connecting recessed groove 23 communicably connecting the two flow metering grooves 21 and 22 to each other is formed in the valve element 20. Two of upper and lower valve ports 13 and 14 are formed in the valve element 20 at positions different from each other in the axial direction. The upper valve port 13 is opened toward a valve chamber 12 at an axial position corresponding to the upper flow metering groove 21, and the other lower valve port 14 is opened toward the valve chamber 12 at an axial position corresponding to the lower flow metering groove 22.
