PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a heat exchanger of low-costed structure improved in durability and capable of preventing the generation of crack and breakdown in a flat tube by dividing a reinforce at the optimal dividing position to relax three-dimensional deformation of the reinforce. SOLUTION: When thermal distortion quantity of a flat part 20 of the flat tube 1a when cooling water flows inside the flat tube 1a is H and thermal distortion quantity of a circular arc part 21 is R, the reinforces 7 and 7 are divided at positions (dividing positions 15 and 16) substantially satisfying the relation R=H.
