Described herein is a method for enrolling a user terminal (UT) in a network (WLAN) including an access point (AP) for the user terminal (UT), the access point (AP) performing the following steps: detecting the performance of a first pressure of a registration button on the access point (AP); detecting the reception of a request for enrollment from the user terminal (UT); detecting the performance of a second pressure of the registration button on the access point (AP); and enrolling the user terminal (UT) in the network (WLAN) only if a single request for enrollment is received between the detections of the first and second pressures.
