An arrangement for pumped feeding of a liquid chromatography column has an injection valve (1) incorporating a mixing chamber (2) containing magnetic agitator batons (5) which are rotated by an external magnetic field. Further agitation may be provided by connecting a tee- or cross piece (7) at the valve inlet, and/or a static mixer tube (8) downstream of the valve. An independent claim is included for a turbulence promoting flow-path formed between a screw-threaded valve member and its housing.
