The procedure for examining the bolting device mechanism (13) condition of solenoid operated parking brake (12,13) involves a control element (8) for securing or releasing the parking brake, a hydraulic aggregate (6), controller (7), position sensor (26) to establish position of parking brakes which are operated with master brake cylinder (4), booster (2) and foot brake pedal (1). An independent claim is also included for a vehicle parking brake.
