<p>A pivot element affixable to a door, for use in a hinge assembly for mounting the door on a door frame, the hinge assembly including two hinge pin holding arms for mounting on the door frame and a hinge pin for mounting therebetween, the pivot element including a first cylindrical bore for receiving a screw for coupling to the door, and a second cylindrical bore for receiving the hinge pin therethrough, the pivot element being adapted and configured for coupling to the hinge assembly with the second cylindrical bore disposed between the pin holding arms, wherein a longitudinal axis of the second cylindrical bore is perpendicular to a longitudinal axis of the first cylindrical bore, and the second cylindrical bore is spaced apart from the first cylindrical bore, and wherein the pivot element is adapted and configured for adjusting, while the door affixed to the hinge assembly is mounted on the door frame, a position of the door relative to the door frame, and a hinge assembly including this pivot element.</p> |
